A WOMAN has revealed how she saved a tonne of money adding some garden chairs to her home.
Taking to social media, the woman revealed how she grabbed the bargain buys for just £1 each - despite many sun loungers costing upwards of £100.
Sharing a picture of the two chairs on Facebook she showed how one was pasty white while the other was dark green.
She revealed she managed to nab the bargains from the recycling centre for £1 each.
But the DIY whizz revealed she brought them back to good as new with some elbow grease and a cheap cleaning product.
She wrote: "Bought these from recycling centre for a pound a good scrub and 3in1 oil came up like new one, on (the) left is what they were before."
The savvy woman later revealed she bought from Poundland for just £1.50.
The versatile product can lubricate, clean and polish and prevent rust.
She used the oil and scrubbed it along the chair to get rid of the faded white colour and bring them back to life.
Not only can it be used on plastic, it's also perfect for use around the home on squeaky doors, in a workshop or garden, on your car or for your bike.
The post shared on the Facebook page, , has gone viral with hundreds of likes.
People were quick to praise the woman for her money-saving hack.
One person wrote: "No way the white one came back as green as all the colour had been bleached out the green one looks brand new."
"I know amazing isn’t it," replied the DIY whizz.
Another commented: "That's satisfying."

Clean
Everything looks better after a good scrub.
If in doubt, opt for a simple washing-up liquid and warm water solution, and get to work removing all the grime and dirt.
If the piece of furniture can withstand some pressure, why not pressure wash it?
Leave it to dry, then you can see what you’re dealing with.
Fix-up
If the item of furniture is a little wonky, or you’re unsure how sturdy it is, take a moment to check all the fixtures and either replace them or tighten them up.
Colour
The quickest way to transform a piece of furniture is with a lick of paint.
When choosing a new colour, base it on shades that will fit with your existing garden design and plants - but most importantly, pick a colour that will bring a smile to your face."
